Word Well - How to Play
Bond tiles to form two-letter words, earn points by defining them, and get bonuses for long chains.
Drop tiles into the left or right of the well with the + buttons. Create a bond by clicking a tile to select it, then clicking an adjacent tile - do the same to break a bond.
Click Submit to move to the next stage, where you'll define your words. Use "Reverse it?" if you think reversing the letters might also be a valid word, but be careful not to compromise your chains.
Correctly defined letter pairs are removed from the well, giving you space to keep playing - but not if you get any in a chain wrong. If the well fills up, click Reset to try again.
Plan your tile drops and bonds carefully to achieve the highest score!
